Part-time/Temporary position responsible for coordinating and implementing all day-to-day aspects of the program. Student TECH CORPS (Summer) is a 6-week “summer work experience” for in-school students ages 14-18 years old designed to deliver tech support training and certification to students and then harnesses their knowledge to power a Student-Run Help Desk to provide valuable technical support in their school buildings or communities. Students work 25/hours each week and earn up to $9.00 per hour. Eligible students apply to participate in the program and are assigned to one of the Student TECH CORPS worksites. Each cohort (up to 30 student-employees) is supported by two Worksite Supervisors (Instructors) and a Site Coordinator.
|Dates:||Student TECH CORPS for program staff will run from June 4, 2019 – August 10, 2019|
|Time:||Student TECH CORPS will run from Monday-Friday from 8:30AM to 1:30PM. Staff is compensated for instruction, planning time and team meetings.|
|Wage:||$20 per hour (amount may vary by geographic area)|
Direct Report: Student TECH CORPS Instructors report to the Manager of Special Projects – JFS.
Location: Student TECH CORPS is offered via partnerships with K-12 schools and nonprofit organizations in Central Ohio.
