Student TECH CORPS Grants for 20 selected Rural Middle Schools in GA, OH, and WA

Bring student technology training and tech support to your middle school!


Student TECH CORPS, an exciting program from the non-profit organization TECH CORPS, delivers core technology training and certification to your middle school students, then applies their knowledge to power a Student-Run Help Desk to provide valuable technical support in your school.

Now, thanks to a competitive grant made possible by the U.S. Department of Education and TECH CORPS, 20 selected rural middle schools will be selected to receive:

To qualify for the grant, applicants must be:

  • a middle school located in a rural community (as defined by your State Department of Ed) in GA, OH or WA

  • able to designate a School-based Coordinator (should be technical) to train & test students and oversee the student help desk aspects of the program

  • able to attend a one-day training at a TBD location within your state

  • able to begin implementation of the program immediately upon reward notification

  • willing to complete and submit all data collection measurements for program evaluation

  • Some SUMMER time activities may be required
