webTeacher Developers

webTeacher was created in 1997 by two teachers from Tennessee, Mike and Jo Ann Guidry, and by TECH CORPS WebMaster Wayne Kincaid, who brought together their Internet knowledge and classroom experiences to develop a training tool useful for anyone, but designed specifically for teachers. Through extensive field tests giving teachers hands-on use of the program, the tutorial was refined and enhanced to address those things which would help you to use the Internet in your classroom.

In 2000 a Spanish translation of webTeacher was provided courtesy of the Government of Puerto Rico and the Office of Management and Budget.

This revision of webTeacher includes new material authored by Murray Browne, who also helped re-organize site content. Ping Zheng developed the new Flash navigation menus, designed and implemented the site-wide style sheet program, and provided invaluable assistance adding new text and graphics.
