How would you describe the long-term value of TECH CORPS?
When people hear “technology,” they often think it is complicated or intimidating. But TECH CORPS breaks it down. It gives you a beginner-friendly space to explore, understand, and grow. I always tell people to just try it. Technology is part of every industry now. Why not get ahead and make it work for you?

How did TECH CORPS influence your college experience?
TECH CORPS taught me how to problem-solve, collaborate, and present. Those skills showed up constantly in college, especially in my entrepreneurship program. I worked with real clients and launched startups. The step-by-step thinking I learned through robotics and team projects helped me succeed at Miami University.

What did you learn about working on a team?
TECH CORPS taught me to listen first. Every team brings different ideas, and learning to understand others’ perspectives helped me contribute in ways that moved the group forward. That skill has been essential, not just for class projects, but also in life and leadership.

What are your future plans?
I graduated in 2025 from Miami University with a major in economics and general business and a minor in entrepreneurship. Now I am pursuing my real estate license and launching an AirBnB business. I am also heading back to school for my master’s, and maybe even a PhD. I want to keep learning, keep growing, and keep building.

If you could give your high school self some advice, what would it be?
Try everything. Do not put yourself in a box. The world is huge, and there is so much to learn and experience. Stay curious and never stop investing in yourself. Growth does not have to end when school does, and your journey is always yours to shape.
