Founder’s Focus Podcast

We are excited to announce that we will be launching a podcast on June 15, 2021. The Founder’s Focus podcast is an open conversation with TECH CORPS founder, Gary Beach, and those who care about the future of technology.

The podcast will be hosted on Podbean and you will be able to find it on Apple Podcast, Google Podcast and Spotify.

Over the years TECH CORPS has worked with so many incredible teachers. Although acknowledging them all individually would be difficult, these remarks are representative of all the teachers who have partnered with us to educate, excite and empower K-12 students with technology.

Earning Industry Certifications

Congratulations to Kofi, a freshman at Horizon Science Academy for earning his CompTIA IT Fundamentals+ certification. Kofi was able to sit for his first CompTIA certification after participating in TECH CORPS’ Computing Career Corps (CCC). Sponsored by the Franklin County Dept. of Job and Family Services, CCC gives students a solid understanding of the inner workings of technology and introduces students to a variety of in-demand occupations in the field of technology.

Skills to Succeed

Too many young people are entering the workforce without the skills they need to succeed. TECH CORPS program participants now have access to an award-winning, online learning platform that will equip them with a variety of work-readiness skills. In partnership with Accenture, TECH CORPS is excited to embed the Skills to Succeed learning tool into a number of our high school programs.
