TECH CORPS was thrilled to connect with educators, partners, and community leaders at the 2025 Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) Conference in Cleveland, Ohio. Here’s a quick look at how we showed up, shared our impact, and sparked new possibilities:
Workshop: Exciting Families, Educating Minds, Empowering Communities
Led by TECH CORPS team members Kryssie Smith and Randy Tucker, this interactive session featured a student-led Data Carnival experience. Attendees explored how our Techie Camp: Data Carnival engages students in grades 3–5 with real-world data concepts through hands-on, game-based learning. The workshop reached capacity—proof that the demand for innovative, inclusive computer science education is stronger than ever.

Lunch & Learn: Tech, Training, and T-Shirts
TECH CORPS hosted a Lunch & Learn at the Winking Lizard Tavern in Downtown Cleveland, where attendees enjoyed a complimentary meal while discovering how to bring Techie Camp: Data Carnival to their schools.
Flash Talk: Building Equitable CS and IT Pathways
Our CEO, Lisa M. Chambers, joined Chelsey Kohn (CMSD/CSU) to spotlight the power of multi-sector collaboration in expanding computer science access in Cleveland. This lightning talk showcased how schools, higher ed, nonprofits, and industry are working together to build sustainable pathways for students.
