This season, meet Zarriah, an alum who turned her TECH CORPS experience into a career in cybersecurity, and Kashmeir, a Techie Camper who found confidence and creativity through animation and game design. With 400 high schoolers set to fall into the excitement of the annual TECH CORPS hackathon, we’re proud to celebrate 30 years of unlocking opportunities, and we couldn’t do it without you.

This year, 400 high school students in Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, and Elyria will have the opportunity to compete in our seventh TECHCORPShack. The TECH CORPS Hackathon is a high-energy, full-day event where high school students team up to tackle real-world challenges using the latest technology. Students unleash their creativity, learn new skills, compete for cash prizes, and build lasting connections with peers and mentors. Students can register now to join the competition. Zarriah Sweeney: TECH CORPS Alum

Building confidence and resilience through technology

Zarriah Sweeney’s TECH CORPS journey began in 10th grade. From winning a TECHCORPShack to developing her leadership skills as a tutor, she transformed those experiences into a pathway to technology.

Today, Zarriah is a computer science student and cybersecurity intern with the City of Cleveland. She credits TECH CORPS with helping her build the resilience and confidence to pursue her goals. Watch as Zarriah shares how TECH CORPS shaped her journey.

This summer, TECH CORPS reached students through hands-on programs! From Techie Camps for K-8 students to IT On Ramp and Student TECH CORPS for high schoolers, students explored technology, built new skills, and grew in confidence.
