CSEdWeek 2023

We celebrated #CSEdWeek2023 with our friends at Hyland. This year, 35 teachers in four states educated, excited, and empowered more than 5,000 students with TECH CORPS unplugged activities. The “unplugged” approach allows elementary and middle school students to delve into computer science concepts without needing a computer — making learning enjoyable and accessible to students of all backgrounds.

TECHCORPShack Winners at the Statehouse

We celebrated our 2023 hackathon winners at the Ohio Chamber of Commerce and Ohio Statehouse on December 6th. Family, friends, and lawmakers gathered to celebrate #CSEdWeek and our future technology leaders.

The students heard words of encouragement from Steve Stivers, CEO, Ohio Chamber of Commerce; Mike Duffey, Senior Vice Chancellor, Ohio Department of Higher Education; and Damika Withers, Chief Economic Equity & Inclusion Officer for the Franklin County Board of Commissioners Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

All this was made possible through the generosity of our hackathon sponsors, the Franklin County Board of Commissioners Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Nordson Corporation Foundation, and Sci-Tech. The Hackathon was powered by Swift and fueled by WillowTree Apps.
