TECH CORPS summer staff educates, excites, and empowers 3rd-12th graders with technology. Do you know someone who wants a summer position where they can make a positive impact? We have positions in California, Colorado, Georgia, Ohio, and Rhode Island. Be sure to spread the word!

Chicago Student WEB CORPS Is Back

The 2022 Student WEB CORPS program in Chicago was a huge success thanks to our partners at Google. Check out the video to learn how Googlers volunteered their time supporting our students.

We’re excited to partner with Google, One Summer Chicago, and Claretian Associates again this summer to offer Student WEB CORPS. If you know a high school student in Chicago interested in learning web development and earning up to $1,800, click the button below.

Northeast Ohio Learn & Earn

You can help Northeast Ohio 11th and 12th graders learn web design and get paid this summer. Thanks to our program sponsors CSforCLE, Cleveland Metropolitan School District, KeyBank, and The Nord Family Foundation, students will gain valuable workforce skills. Be sure to forward this email to parents, friends and colleagues who may know a student who could benefit.

Computing Career Corps: We’re Off!

Thank you for supporting our Computing Career Corps (CCC) student recruitment by spreading the word to your friends and colleagues. Thanks to you, CCC launched in February with 100 students. Students meet Wednesday or Thursday at Horizon Science Academy High School, Franklin Heights High School (pictured above) or TECH CORPS headquarters for 15 weeks.

TECH CORPS Site Coordinator Marte’ Allen shared, “The students are becoming comfortable with the instructors and one another. It’s a safe environment for learning new concepts. Students are stepping out of their comfort zones to get the most out of the experience.”

Rural Students Benefit from Student TECH CORPS

Graham Local School District is in Champaign County, Ohio. TECH CORPS has partnered with Graham to bring the Student TECH CORPS program to its campus. High school students receive tech support training and can earn industry-recognized certifications. Watch the video to learn how the program prepares students for future careers in IT.
